We are proud to announce our participation to BRAFA, the leading fine art fair that will take place in Brussels Expo, from 19th to 26th of June.
Founded in 1956, BRAFA is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious art fairs, famous for the high quality fine art, antiques, modern and contemporary art and design it offers.
In our STAND 106 we will showcase a curated selection of Ancient Art, European Sculpture and Works of Art. Among them you will be able to admire a fascinating terracotta model of Bacchus and Ariadne created by Florentine Artist Giuseppe Piamontini in preparation to larger versions of this subject made in bronze, including the one today housed in the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles.
Our exhibition will also include two works attributed to the 18th Century Flemish artist Laurent Delvaux: an impressive pair of round reliefs portraying two bearded philosophers and a remarkable terracotta sculpture of Hercules at rest.
In our stand you will also find selected antiquities, including an Egyptian banded alabaster vase of impressive size with provenance history dating back to 1920 as well as a rare and intact Greek Lekythos vase attributed to the Beldam Painter and published in the Beazley archive..
